We are gatherting petitions drawing the attention of the House of Representatives and the community to the National School Chaplaincy Program.
Under this program, the federal government has given $165 million to schools to employ a school chaplain. We, the taxpayers of Australia, strongly reject our money being spent on indoctrinating innocent minds with the ancient dogmas and baseless beliefs of the religious establishment.
We call on the federal government to end the practice of reading out religious prayers in parliament immediately. The reading out of this prayer is in contradiction with Australia being a secular state.
Same-sex couples deserve the same rights as all other couples.
